it's really just a collectors item, you get the mannequin head with them when you buy them, not really for use but more for display think of it as mass produced art by a shitty company (except for their goggles, everything else is SHIT) believe it or not, their sunglasses barely sell anymore

nah they are getting shit on we sell them where i work, we sell less $90 oakley's than $300 prada's, we're phasing them out, and to be completely honest their outerwear is really shitty quality, which is true with most of the products they put out, the only decent merchandise their putting out now is their snow and mx goggles, and people are finding this to be true, around 2002 2003 their merchandise was pretty good quality, but it's just gone downhill, most shops won't even carry their outerwear anymore and less and less stores are carrying their sunglasses, i know we're phasing them out in favor of ray bans and prada's and what not

i agree with everything you said, but i would have to say that their streetwear is pretty nice stuff.  other than that, yeah, their quality is going down and it bums me out to say that since i've been an O fan since i was 5...  Oakley needs to stop using their massive popularity to justify making sub-par shiz or it's gonna bite them in the ass.

anyway, the Medusa's been around for almost 10 years now.  nice life.

that's on par with saying that if Oakley made a penis slicer that was endorsed by their athletes, everyone would love it.  sorry, but just because it has an O on it and their athletes wear it doesn't mean everyone's gonna jump on the bandwagon.  Oakley's been pushing their Thumps for a while now and many of their top athletes wear them... but how many threads do you see about how awesome the Thumps are?  not many.  Oakley DOES make some dope shit that warrants the hype, they make some that doesn't deserve the hype, and then they make stuff (case in point) that everyone with a working brain realizes is as gay as two dudes 69ing.
