Replying to Watchlifes binding ripping out?
So I bought some 06/07 Watchlifes from a fellow NS'er in the fall and just recently had em mounted. When I had them mounted the shop guy said that he though the core of the ski was very soft and that if he gave the screw another turn, he felt that it would strip itself. He hadn't heard of surface before and started telling me about little companies and their faults. I didn't really listen, and he of course, mounted them anyways. I didnt really get too worried after I skied them for a day, but the second day I was on them, which was today, I leaned forward on my skis and my heelpiece shot off. Now, I obviously can't go and complain to my shop because they warned me, so should I try and warranty them? It doesnt seem safe that I should try and remount them, because I'm guessing the same thing might happen again. And if I do decide to warranty, how should I do so? I hadn't had to worry about warrantying anything in the past, so if someone could tell me some good ways of doing so, that'd help alot.
Oh, and has anyone else dealt with surface regarding warranties?
