Am i fucked? (mono)

so yeah, my girlfriend got diagnosed with it this week. the last time we kissed was on a weekend, then the following week she started to show symptoms, then the following weekend she was diagnosed.  i know mono can chill for 4-6 weeks before it starts to really show up, but is it contagious then??

like when we were kissing she wasnt sick at all, sooo idk. any imput would be appretiated...better get all my fucking skiing in soon...damnit...

word.  my brother got it but his girlfriend didnt, so i'm not gonna say i'm too fucked yet...but oh well, at least if i get it i can kiss her again haha cas she cant get it twice if i recall...cas you have it for the rest of your life but you build immunity to it.

you can get it more than once, its just not as bad after the first times, and I think its harder to get it again. But dude, seriously charish the  well time that you have left. In a couple weeks you're going to start to feel your soul leaving your body, and its not coming back for at least 2 weeks.

Yeah it's contagious before the symptoms show up.  Hahahaha, my buddy's a carrier and he never knew.  His mom finally made him go get a test when he came home on break and admitted that all his girlfriends somehow seem to come down with mono.

my gf had it, and i wasnt about to not have any play for the 6months that it sits in you, so i maned up and got it too, it was chill. we both got out of school and just chilled. its only bad for like a week or so. but as long as you keep eating realy healthy foods (which is kinda hard cuz you loose your appetite) and get alot of rest youll still be able to ski and shit. i did it, i got over it real quick. dont worry about it too much.

thanks dude, idk if i could man up to it hahah.   but idk, sucks its on christmas too.  but i think i'm just gonna ski my heart out and hope i dont get it, if i do, who cares i'll deal with it...

yeah man, mono realy isnt as bad as ppl make it out to be. i just felt tired and bummed out. just keep your morale up and make sure to eat energizing things. youll be fine, oh and your docs will tell you not to ski, def dont listen, just make sure to get alot of rest or you will make it worse.

it affects everyone differently. I know people that have hardly been sick, like how you sounded, and I also know people who couldn't get out of their bed for 2+ weeks. It just depends on the person.
