Ski size

5' 11 and 140 pounds, like my skis a little shorter than most.  Last year I was on a 171.  What would you suggest.

Staying with 171 would be fine. I wouldn't go much smaller than 165. 171 is certainly still a "ski," as opposed to looking like an oversized skiblade. Anything over 185 or so is probably going to feel really long to you.

Depending on what your using the ski for and where your going to mount the ski, id say you could easily go up to a 176. Possibly even a 181 if they are your  park sticks

I'm 5'10 160 and ski on 176's - i personally wouldn't go too much longer than that, so in your case i'd say some 171s would be a good size

lol, I'm 6', 170 lbs and I ski 164s. They feel pretty short, especially in pow.

are u serious?

id say go no shorter then 175 if ur a good skier
171 is deff pushin it if ur an aggresive skier
