Replying to Chris fucken Davenport is in my town tonight

So we just got a new REI outdoors store in the center of my town, and I went in today to buy a ski rack and I see this piece of paper sticking out of the dudes pocket with "Chris Davenport" written on it.  So I say, "your name wouldn't happen to be Chris Davenport too, would it?" He replies "No some guy that skied all 1400 foot peaks in Colorado is coming here tonight to give a slideshow and talk about it." I say "uhh...you mean 14,000, right?" He replies "Yeah, whatever, well he's coming here tonight so bring your friends." So at this point I'm thinking holy fuck, I run home and dig through all my old Powder magazines to find his articles so he can sign them.  My town is not a ski town in any sense of the word, the closest mountain with more than 15 trails is almost two hours away.  Apparently REI teamed up with Salomon to ship Davenport around the country, which is pretty fucken awesome.  I'm so pumped to hear what he has to say. Just thought I'd share that with y'all.
