I find it ironic. How people became 'rebels', 'punks' to rebel against the trends by not following them.

But today, the punk/skater look is a big trend.
People wore pink originally to go against the crowd, but now if you wear pink you're actually going with it.

I had pink hair for a week cause I thought it'd be fun. Does that make me 'Punk'? I'm the least 'punk' kid I know. Then again...I'm a girl and my favorite colour is pink.

pink is just as prep as it is punk. you'll see plenty of dudes sporting pink on the golf course or tennis court. pink is cool, but it's just a color, it doesn't really belong to one scene or style.

I like pink
because it's doing a big contrast with black I mean I wear only jeans so when you wear bright color it's making something sick beause normaly people just match things up so it woN,t flash up like but if you wear black jeans with pink t-shirt it's flashing more because it looks weird... so pink is cool because it's a bade contrast because the contrary of black is white so it makes a good contrast

i really like bright colors. pink, blue, yellow, green; im not into blacks and dark blues. punk isnt bullshit, so dont say that. it is going down the drain though because all these trend-whore, mtv 'punks' are sporting pins, studs and plaids. i love plaid. 'Turning rebellion into money' to quote the clash is what is happening to the punk image and it doesnt have the meaning it once did. dont diss punk because you dont like it, its a way of thinking and a way of living to those who are actually punks, not just a fasion trend. you can say the same thing about the kids who like Good Charolette that you can about the little girls who like Fitty (50 cent) and dress 'ghetto'

no sorry THIS just in...the mojos are not the new madtrix dumbass...The mojo with the pink base was a prototype early release ski. The mojo is a fat twin. it has a snake on the top sheet. The madtrix is still around, and it ALSO has a snake on the topsheet. Madtrix and Mojos...same design DIFFERENT skis...

You other guys misinterpreted what I said and are getting all defensive over it.

I, however, form my own opinions based upon experience, the world around me, and logic. I do not take someone else's opinon and accept it as truth.

Honestly, wear whatever clothes you want to wear, sport whatever color you like - so long as it's true to yourself. That you are wearing it because you like it, not because it's popular or 'the cool thing to do.

The point was that the punk culture was formed because people wanted to drift from conformity.
The style, the music, the image went against the trends.
BUT TODAY, media has exploited the 'punk' scene
and have popularized it. Feeding people that good charlotte and bands like that are what punk is.
It has become a modern day trend.
I find that ironic.

Alot of kids are wearing pink these days - not because they necessarily like it, but because it's the 'cool thing to do'. They are trying to fit in with the trend.

Just be true to yourself.
