Ok so my dad and I built this drop in today, and since it's the first one we've ever built, I was wondering should I put some carpet on it for winter use, since it doesn't seem snow would stay on the wood. It's 6 feet high and 9ish feet long. So carpet or not?
yeah hes saying just get a couple pieces of wood that u put horizontal across the drop in and that will hold the snow during the winter, it wont slide down because it will get caught on the horizontal pieces of wood. during the summer definatly put carpet over the drop in.
get carpet for sure. It truly does stick well to it but you might wanna put thin pieces of wood down the drop-in to keep the snow in place for winter use.
Just wondering what kind of wood did you use for the actaul droping in part/top of the drop in. The plywood or whatever. I'm not sure what to get I'm afraid the woods gonna warp fast and just break
does astro-turf work better then carpet or not? im building a drop in ramp and i have heard astro turf with pam sprayed on it slides well. anyone have a personal experience with both carpet and astro turf?
