Your negativity is sure to be found whenever referencing pbp. Why so bitter?

Yeah Dude is a great movie, way better, funnier, more entertaining, with better skiing in it and with more work behind than Idea, for example. Good Job Tyler

Yeah Dude is by far the best PBP movie since Session 1242. You guys need to get your shit straight. Everyone's always criticizing PBP for making the same kind of movie with better tricks every year, and this year Tyler did a sick job of changing that formula.
I thought the editing was great, it had great rythm and flow (which I think PBP movies lack all the time), the segments were sick (Hatveit, Benchetler, Walker...), the music was pretty good, which is also something that PBP is not known for.
Sure it's long, but I prefer to see an 80 minute movie with a good vibe with pretty much every segment that is sick rather than a 40 minute movie like Ski Porn that's the same as every other movie from that company.
Yeah Dude is a great movie, and would probably be this year's best movie if it wasn't for Realtime, and even then, it's a close call.

I watched 16 or 17 movies all back to back at the IF3. I wrote little notes after each one, the only thing I wrote for Yeah Dude.. was........ Must Buy... Don't ask me why, cause I am too old to remember details, but I can tell you that it impressed me enough to write that. NOW, on the other hand.. For Idea, I wrote: Different, slo-mo, sappy..... so... everyones opinion is different.
Keep in mind I have NEVER seen a ski movie that I didn't like. I like them all, they all are good and get me stoked to go skiing.

I was actually in favor of all of your shots, thinking they were all pretty damn sick, especially that rail. But just a few things I didn't think were that sick were when say Peter Olenick did stuff like a 270 out of a down flat rail. ALot of it was suuuper sick. But some of it just didn't get me going to much. Maybe I just had to high of expectations after seeing what someone like Ahmet or Will Wesson were doing this past year. Most of it just didn't compare.

more work? looks more like they were sitting around with free time while editing and were like hey what he just said right there was retard lets put it in the movie, Yeah dude said by another guy lets do that, and thats how they got the title of the movie. tards, and i saw tyler at the showing in btown, i thought it was someone from the special olympics rather large head, and not the smart looking big head

haha ya i kinda realized that after. sorry, i wasnt trying to claim. throw em willem claimed (he actually said claim) he could do all the urbans in the movie "for sure". spriggs and i worked for 5 or 6 hours on that rail trying to get a shot and we both finally did and then some person i have never met comes on to NS and belittles a trick that i worked that hard on is kinda weak.

its was decent. It would have been sick if they just took out all the shitty segements and made it shorter. There was alot of really weak footy

It;s just ns bro, you should expect little shitbags to claim and hate on shit all day. My advice to you as someone with legit talent is 4 words, "rise above the fray" let the monkeys throw poop at each other.

for those of you who dont think the crew worked hard needs a reality check, everyone busted there fingers and worked hard. Athletes, Filmers, Office Dudes, and Editors. Hours often extended into 6 a.m. Some wouldnt sleep for days on end.
If you dont like a movie its one thing, but claiming a crew didnt work hard because of your personal opinion is whack, alot of you need to get a grasp and realize what it actually takes to make a movie and that everyone on this crew loves what they do and would dedicate there life to it.
Share your opinions but dont attack one of the coolest crews of hard working dudes.

yeah you slayed in yeah dude, your way underated. But yeah dude kinda had a country music kind of style to it that i couldnt deal with, even though there wasn't any country music in it. the sountrack and simon dumont talking about himself sortof killed it
there were 3 good songs though
feels like rain
the us open song
and mickey avalon

So again we come back to you being ready for these types of things when you sign on to a "PBP", whens the last time anyone other than Pep killed it? Why isn't Spriggs on here claiming.......... cause he knows better.

i loved yeah dude!!! its the best poor boys movie ive seen yet easily. i used to hate pbp, it was all hardcore, extreme badass skiing, and i dont like that. yeah dude still has some of that, but in a more funny upbeat way. there was some crazy urban stuff from walker, spriggs and those dudes. and the way the movie was put together was super creative too. i get soooo sick of every ski movie trying to be so serious and make skiing look sooo badass when it totally isnt, and yeah dude was more about fun and goofing around than being badass.

That pretty much sums it up for me. Some segs are really sick, unbelievably dope skiing. Others I just can't watch, often because of terrible music. But overall, if I have my remote, it's a sick movie to watch.

ok...i just need to throw this out here.
THIS SHOULD NOT HAVE TO HAPPEN. you should NEVER have to fast forward through ski segments!!!!!!!!! do you fast forward through actual movies when you watch them? probably not unless you have a certain scene you want to watch. but having to skip wack segments is probably the lamest thing ever. and to think you'd have to do it in a PRO MOVIE is the biggest bullcrap ever.
but eh, i guess every pbp lover will just be like gahhh you suck for thinking this because i love poor boyz lOL!!!!!! fuck off.

No one said you guy weren't working hard. They just didn't like your work. I can work for hours on an edit and still have it suck balls, but the difference is you guys are getting paid for it.

I dunno, its kind of different from a regular movie, biggest reason being the lack of, you know, a plot. At any rate I definitely have skipped to only the battle scenes in Lord of the Rings before. If you don't like a particular skier's style, or the song they chose, that's personal preference; you can't make everyone happy with every segment. I've skipped segments in every movie I own...even TBC, 1242, High Five, etc.
Also do you have to add a weak disclaimer to the end of every anti-pbp post? Is that really necessary?

It has a very interesting group of riders... half older ski heroes and half newcomers. Which is probably why half of the people on here hate it and the other half like it.

speaking of weak disclaimers, didn't Jeff_Lo help to edit the movie? Why is he in every thread about 'Yeah Dude' ten times, defending it?
That's almost as unnecessary as Walker's picture post!
It's fine to defend yourself, but this is just Bush League
