All right lets hear em, whats your opinion? Personally I think the downtown, post bank robbery shootout scene in Heat is pretty epic.

Al Pachino movie for those who arent familiar.

I agree with the thread creator, that one in Heat is fucking nuts. Val Kilmer is such an ass kicker. The matrix one is fucking wicked too and I'm sure I'll think of more.

Pick up "Children of Men." There is some of the best filming I have ever seen in that movie. The battle scene through the building was one of the most awe inspiring things I have ever seen.

I don't know if this really counts, but the opening and closing battles in saving private ryan are insane. Hell, every gun battle in that movie is awesome. Also, you can't forget the standoff at the end of The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.

the music was JUST perfect, a few light beats to build suspense and then the look on val's face when he gets to the car and the music stops and he starts blasting. only movie that i thought the gun battle was 100% real it was ABSURD
