Alright when I slide a box I slide it with left foot forward. I naturally spin to the left, so when I try to switch up it feels like I can't. But when I spin unnaty it works everytime. Whats up with this?
i really have no idea? maybe your not commiting or your afraid or something.? i know kids on boards and skis who have this problem, just keep practing i guess
I spin left slide left. I find backside switchups easier too, because rather than doing a pretzel I can keep spinning the way I spun on. The funny thing is I can do pretzel 270 off but not backside 270 off.
I guess that would be because its the same direction as getting onto the rail. But I think it's probably more that you're thinking about it too much. Just hop about, don't think! Also, for some people it's just easier to spin bs than fs (or the other way around) regardless of what direction they spin.
