Double u tee eff green lines?

Alright, I've had this computer for about 3-4 years. It's ran perfect since about 3 weeks ago. Whenever I turn it on and leave it on for less than 10 mins all these green and pink lines come up on the screen and won't go away. Everytime I type the lines move. Anyone know what part of the computers this is affecting?

I am gonna be fucking pissed if it's the monitor. I've had it for less than a year and it's a samsung.. doesn't mean anything but oh well..

if you have another monitor hook it up and try it with that one to see if the problem continues. also try to search google with the monitor name and something like "green lines" or "lines" and see if anyone else has had the problem.

jiggle the monitor plug that connects into your v-card in the back of the comp
