I have a big problem with keeping my hands warm, and was wondering what gloves out there are super warm? I was looking into getting some mittens... anyone got suggestions?
Bronco GTs are definitely the way to go. I have really bad circulation in my hands and feet, and the GTs are the only gloves I've ever had that kept my fingers warm.
i have the POW sniper ES glove and it has a liner that makes em warm and a vent if they get to hot. they are super sick. i have some oakley gloves that are super warm too. not the pipe gloves.
i got a pair of pow re-stealth gloves in whistler but ive yet to try them in really cold conditions...they seem warm but i'll prolly get a liner for em. ive heard good things on level sixties too.
Hestra and Swany are the 2 warmest glove companies IMO. If you know a Swany rep, you can get 50% off their gloves, but it will still be like 50-70 bucks. I would recommend the Swany leather Toasters. They are the warmest things, and have a zipper on the side, so you can open that up, and stick your hand out of the side. (It has a liner)
i used to have those swany mittens, be aware that the zipper is a pain in the ass cause it always gets stuck i'm looking into getting pair of hestra's but my dakine bronco gt's do well for the time being
Mittens will always be better than gloves if it's really bad but if you want to stick with gloves get some of the hestras pictured above. I have them and they're really warm.
the zipper never got stuck for me. you should have just ripped the glove where it is sewn if they were under 1 year old. you would have gotten free gloves.
Maybe it was just last season but it was fuckin cold in utah last winter.. I ended up getting frostbite on my nose and had a few friends who had the same thing happen. Hopefully it wont be so cold this winter.
