I NEED BOOTS

i'm a new b to alpine equipment (don't worry, i ski fine, just been a permanent telemarker for 8 years)

i need some alpine boots this season but have some questions.... mostly for any of the probably 13 year old guys here.

I'm around a size 22.5 to 23 ( hence why I need little people to talk to me). I'm 115 lbs and i'd like to say, a very agressive skier, but i'd think i wouldn't need more than 100 flex. i'm only really going to need boots for park since i'd NEVER give up tele for the big mountain, but at the same time i don't want to feel like i'm skiing in slippers. i have a moderately wide middle, moderately wide toe box, and an itty bitty heel... i have a wedge attached to my ankle pretty much.

thus i'm thinking prob some salomons or rossis, maybe even head???

just curious if anyone had any suggestions for me to start with before i go try on every pair in my ski shop.

nordica might be a good option. but you have tiny feet so im not sure if they make them that small. its all dependent on fit though.

I'm not quite sure, but that line where you say "I'm thinking prob some... head" sounds kinda sketch.

I'm not sure many boots come in a 22, I may be wrong though.

I have Rossis and I think they actually run a little wide. Dabellos I heard are more on the narrow side.

a lot of womens boots do come in that size. but yeah, i have wide feet and am happy with my foils, though i find that they don't leave enough room for my calfs, so buckling up is not especially easy for me. the best thing is always to go to a bootfitter to get the proper fit, though that can be pricey. if you want to go cheap erin, kids boots might be an option, though they might be softer than you're looking for. rossi have a wierd fit, but it's worth a try i guess, i know i haven't really narrowed anything down, but it's hard to without a price range.

haha, you're not that small though. but it is a good way to save money. as i asked, is there a price range you're looking to spend?

not sure yet what i want to spend used or new, i know i'm in for at LEAST $300. i bought some used junior langs last season for $30 in april just to play around in, but langs are really not for my foot.

ya i got a wide foot too i just got the spk kreeations and they are plenty wide but like the other guy said there a little narrow on the calf but great boot and they make them in womens i got mine for 330 i think the womens are 370 though but a little nicer too. i also have head mojo heat fit boots ther good and wide enoughf for me but real stiff is id sel em to ya but there 27.5's so thats runnin a litlle big. ya best of luck





oh ya i almost forgot the spk has a real wide to box for rail positioning and balance but it also makes it comfy!     :]

haha, yeah, the narrow last on lange is super narrow, though they have a wider last too that fits most people. look maybe into some old foils, im sure you don't have fat calfs like me, so you should be fine. actually, the ski expo in denver will happen before the season (not sure exactly when), and there's always great deals there cause shops sell off old stock in the used department of the sale for really cheap, probably your best bet to save money. people seem to like them, but i find SPKs really soft, so you be the judge of that, though meg said the new SPK Pros are stiffer, though they're kinda pricey.
