oni is good, 11th street is rad (jake does alot of my tattoos), good times, and my best friend pierre owns edison street- his work is amazing!!! he did the ice cream cones u can find in my gallery, if u go to him and tell him u know KD he'd probably hook u up with a tattoo cheap
thats how it is with most tattoo artists in slc.. we have ALOT of amazing artists so be prepared to wait. i know jake miller at 11th street has a 2 month wait right now, but hahah i dont have to wait when i get tattooed bc my feet tattoos are such a big deal- featured twice, stolen twice, and people knew who i was even in europe
Oni on 900S is good. I think I'm getting my other sleeve and possibly chest piece by either Greg and/or Sarah there, and I live half a block away so I can walk, which is always a plus.
Nate and Dean at Lost Art on State are good. They both have done a lot of work on some friends.
Everybody at Eleventh St. in Sugarhouse is good. Jake does awesome script, Gailan has awesome color work, and every one else is overall good.
As for Vic at Goodtimes, a close friend of mine had her sleeve done by him and it looks nice. But, she did say he was really expensive and really slow.
Truthfully, it's all about personal preference so go check out portfolios and see for yourself.
