I'll keep it short and sweet...
The ski choices:
Anthem 171 or 178
5'9"
160 lbs.
This will just be a park ski
I ride relatively hard/aggressive

What were you riding previously? Are you experienced or starting out? Do you prefer stability at high speeds or prefer an easier to control, more forgiving ski?

I have been on 181 AR5s and am experienced. Is stability the only advantage in a longer ski? Cause if so I think I would be fine on the shorter as long as it will be more jibbable.

The 178 should be fine for you. Seeing as you are experienced, you should have no problems whatsoever with a long [er] ski. Also, you're skiing on 181s, so youll be fine.

178's no doubt. the 171 seemed a bit too small for me and i'm the same height as you. plus you've got a good 25 lbs on me

im gonna say 178 solely based on your weight. im 5'8" and getting 168s but i only weight 125.
really you can go either way though, i have same decision 175/168 but i wanna be able to whip these skis around like no other so thats why im getting 168s...

Were you center mounting them? Or are they already center, and I just don't know. If it's center, then 178 fo sho. If you are not, 171 might be better, but 178 could work too.

definetely 178, im 5'7 140lbs and I ski 174 and find them a little bit too short... no doubt 178, 171 are going to be snowblade

Either one. Personal preference really. If you're still growing, 178 for sure.
