Elections in turkey

care to ellaborate on what is so special about turkey's elections? 

For some reason, the elections in Turkey aren't much of my interest.

turkeys current ruling party, AK party( justice and development party) was formed in 2001. barely winning over the CH party. CHP was put in place in 1923 and follows the ideals of ataturk. the founder of turkey. it followed the separation of state and religion. and superior social status to families with military background. AK party. lead by prime minister tayyip erdogan, has islamist-rooted ideals. going against the original gov of CHP. on may 22nd ankara(capital)was bombed by the PKK( kurdish separatist group). AKP identifies this as 'kurdish probelom'. it is on the agenda of the turkish military to attack the headquarters of the PKK in the boreder of turkey-iraq mountanious borders. being in teh presence of northern iraq. this has shown opposition from the US. AK party has just won the election in a landslide. and i await to see what happens next. also. turkey is a primarily muslim country. and one of few muslim democratic nations. but the founding ideals are being tested with the AK party

I thought is said "Electronics in Turkeys"
so I clicked on it expecting to see something on how the FDA is puttng electronic gizmos in our turkeys.
