Replying to Help me with my math please....

dont think many people will help but hopefully im lucky

i have this review sheet complete with ansers and its on exponents...i just have to understand how to do it for this test tomorow it seems really basic...but i dont get it...so here are a few with ansers can you try and explain what you do to solve it *numbers with a * are exponents...thats the small number above a number...

1. (0.4)3*
------- = 2.5
0.16


2. (-2)-3* =-1/8


3. (2/3)-3* =27/8


4. 4-3* =1/64


i know this is probably simple but i cant figure it out...and you dont have to comment on how dumb i am..
