Whats the longest jump youve ever cleared on skis in park or bc.
So i'll just throw in this story... The jump we built for Jon and Travis and Eero at park city ended up being around mid 70's but kicked you waaay up there. Kutcher knows, he was the only one to hit it when the lip was at it's most vert.. anyway, during world superpipe one of the race department "slippers" they brought in to slip the pipe was all about that jump one morning when he showed up at the pipe. now, this guy is probably in his late 40's on race skis and a very tight fitting non matching outfit. He was talking to his buddy and we all overheard, "did you see that jump up there it's shick!! it's huge. it's massive. it'sh like a hundred feet tall and a hundred something feet long. it's so gnarly!!" This is the slipper that slipped the pipe like a race course, just following the tracks up the walls and not smoothly the whole way down. it's funny what peoples perception of jumps are, even in the small parks. The only time i've seen anyone undersize a jump was the hip in the crown this season, most of the guesses were 60 feet but it ended up at 76 for the knuckle and 80 to clear knuckle.
