is tehre like some sort of cable that i can hook up directly to my comp to record music from my guitar, keyboard and i have one of those v drums sets too. im just wondering about this and have no clue about it and thought it would probably produce way better quality then just sticking a mic up to everything. so i need to know what i need and whats its called basicly thanks.

Tapco(mackie) makes a USB interface with a XLR and 1/4" input. MIDI as well. It's nice, and under $99
