I was stoked to see this. My grandparents live outside of Portland and my grandfather has the tendency of cutting out articles that he thinks I'd like to see or whatever. Sent me one of this huge article on the Meathead crew. Even though its only newspaper article, its a start. 2 dope shots of Shea Flynn as well. Good exposure for the meatheads and skiing.

dope...
but whats the deal?
"The sport has gained popularity over the past decade in the West where deep powder is apt to cushion a fall and the weather is predictable. But it wasn't until Heat Harvest that acing advanced tricks, jumps and terrain park features began to progress in the East."
sounds to me like thats 100% correct. you know it will be either cloudy, sunny, rainy, snowy, foggy, hailing or windy...i guess if you predict all the above, then yes, the weather is predictable.
and the second sentence too. haha. acing advanced tricks didn't begin to 'progress' until last year. hahaha

ya that was the lamest comment in that article. Heat Harvest is dope and all, but it didn't revolutionize big jumps in the east. Mt. Snow a few years back and the VTO were huge steps for New England...
