I wanted to start a new thread because the others were getting too long and old.

I will be posting all the news and dates in this thread for the 2007 season.

BMTROUBLEMAKER (thanks K) and I added 3 pick-up loads of chips to the park today thanks to Joe P. We still have like 2-4 more loads "promised" to us. Hopefully that will be enough to get things started.

I am thinking about 5/20 as the opening jam for this season. Let me know how that works for everyone.

Any more help with a pick up you need just let me know, I can pm you my cell #. I got a v6 4x4 yota, not familiar with your setup but i'm very comfortable with hauling stuff and driving through the woods or wherever. I'm just down in east greenville so I'm fairly close. Also I have one of those canvas tarps with a crank for the bed to make dumping easier and even spreadable, we've used that on everything from top soil to cut firewood and it slides right outta the bed no shoveling.

Hello All,

We are having a rail jam this Sunday, May 20th. This will be our setup/cleanup jam and anyone who wants to help can come along.

We still need wood chips, so if you can bring them along it would help out a lot.

Start time is around 4pm.

Weather is looking pretty crappy for today... supposed to rain pretty good starting around 4 or so. I guess we will wait and see what happens.

The last jam and this one went ok. Weather did limit attendance at both events though. We were able to spread out the chips that we got from Plechavy, install an anchor system to stop the carpet from sliding, and added another 1000 watts of lighting. Hopefully we can still get some more woodchips before the jam season gets in full swing. We are making the lips ouf of chips now, and they are much more "natural".

Sorry, no real video yet...

stopped up for a little tonight w/ justin and korey. despite the rain it was a fun little session. everything was sliding good and got to witness "snow gel" in action and i must say it's quite effective. i was gonna bring the camera to get a few shots to post, but the rain was killin that thought. maybe next time.

snow gel works wonders hella fun last night even in the pouring rain maybe if the rain stops at all this week we can run up to Pelchevy's house and get some more wood chips let me know if there is a good night for you chris and we will see if its not raining or what ever let me know.

I was surprised to see you had a sponsor from mtn creek in the past, thats pretty sweet. If your goin for mountains, bear creek or blue maybe. Local ski shops are Pelican ski, Buckmans, or I know Wilburger's sponsors some of their own local stuff they might be up for it.

Dude do you still live in Pennsylvania??? Wilburgers has been under for like four plus years at least now and as far as I know Pelican isn't doin' so hot either.

Pelican Ski Shops totally screwed us for the L1 premiere we did in 05. I would not give them the time of day, let alone a chance to prove they suck again...

RAIL JAM! - THIS SUNDAY JUNE 17th

Lets hope that the weather will cooperate this time, but we usually have fun regardless...

We have added more chips, built the rail lip out of chips, anchored the carpet, and added another 1000 watts of lighting.

We will be adding another feature this summer with help from jam donations (check out twelve60.com for more on this).

Let me know if you plan on attending!

Talk about last minute... I just got a call from Red Bull, they want to come out and help with the Jam tonight. I know the weather was to be possibly bad, but if we can get enough people they will be here.

The weather does not look to good for tomorrow's jam (7/29). They are calling for thunderstorms. I will take a look again Sunday around lunch to see what the update says. If it is going to rain we will just postpone this week's jam.

It has been pretty dry here all day. but they are still calling for violent downpours. Plan on the jam starting around 6 or so, unless it is storming here in Palmerton at that time. You can contact me around that time if you are not sure.

Ok, so here is what I am thinking about doing on the 12th. If RedBull is around we will have free product, I would also like to do a competition. I can charge like $10 or so to enter. The prize will be cash... 50% of the total would go to the winners and the other 50% would go to improvements on the park. It also would be nice to get some snow for the lip that day... the temps are supposed to be in the 70's.

Let me know what you all think before I make the announcement, I would like to know if a lot of people are going to be on vacation.
