she is the only girl skier i have ever seen that has done a 270 on switch up really smooth. and it was in comp. skiing just isnt that big for girls yet but i hope she gets boticed soon.
yeah i overheard some kids talking saying that people didnt come because welch is gay and it was gonna suck, but just so you know for all of you who said that, it was a good comp and you missed out
oh well, hopefully next year we can make this comp huge and everyone will come, because it will be even more legit next year, this was the first year we actually had control of things at welch and was just kind of a trial, so next year is gonna be off the hook
there was quiet a bit of snow. i was very impressed. i was thinking of throwing a little bit of snow further up so i could have disastered the kink. i would have made it with a little more speed. it was kinda nice that there werent so many people. from what i heard before the comp it sounded like a ton of people were coming but not to many shoed up. you got a lot of sponsors for that also. that was pretty cool.
I really like the jam format. you should deffinetly keep it that way because then you can take a little rest or you can just sprint up and get as many hits as possible and work on some tricks.
we have some amazing video of it and alot of others we were up till 1230 last night working on it and nate is formatting it today so it should be up by like 800
Just about everything at welch next year is gonna be off the hook if they just step aside a bit and let you guys run the show. I think after this event they got it through their heads that you guys can set up a park and put on a sick comp. Looking forward to next year.
