so im looking at next years anthems or the addicts, which do you guys think is better? i like how the addicts are stiffer, but the anthems are wider underfoot...but what about with durability, weight and other factors (not price though)
haha they are not at all alike, i like the anthems alot more, the addicts are too stiff and ski way too good they are really responsive. i dont like it idk. the anthem is one of my fav skis for next year. i would go with them. they ride really well in the park and are stiffer than the invader due to its width.
right on what about 6 ft 175 lb kids....who arnt that great but can hold thier own on rails and jumps...who ski the midwest...and like a softer ski haha
the anthems will certainly be a lot softer than the addicts. they are stiffer than an invader but still fairly soft. i rode addicts all season and they area sick ski, they are stiff, but this makes them perfect for stomping the shit out of everything. you definetly not gonna be sketching out because the ski cant handle the impact of the landing off of a big jump. they are a dream switch and yet actually ski really well all over the mountain. they are also durable as hell, and i mean that. i logged about 70 days this year on one pair of addicts, hitting rails every day, and only lost one very small piece of edge underfoot on the last day. if you want something softer and butter friendly yet not too soft go anthem, but if your lookin for something stiff and burly go with the addict.
people need to stop buying skis for the graphic. you can change the graphic by stickering it up. have you ever seen race skis? those people don't buy them on looks, they buy them on performance. We need to start doing this. buy the ski thats right for you not the grpahic that looks cute. i would buy a ski that say i support gay marriage all over it if it was a 10X better ski then anything else for me. But it thi case i would rather have a wee bit stiffer ski so its probably going to the the addcits but i still don't know yet becasue i haven't gotten my hands on them.
