And yes, I know that posting this in here will end up being quite biased, but to be honest, thats kind of what I want, I just need to re-assure myself.

an answer to your question...and it is biased, but i have skied a lot of skis (line, rossi, k2, fischer, salomon, atomic, nordica) and the watch lifes are by far the funnest all-mountain ski i have ever been on. the flex is great, the shape is great, they pop and turn well. while waiting for the live lifes to show i was forced to ski some deeper days on my watch lifes. they were still super fun. i was landing switch in the powder with them and they skied super well in the deeper snow.

but when the live lifes did show...wow...fun ish. ha, i said wow. that ski is super fun. it is 112 under foot, but i've skied park in them, skied groomers, crud, soupy diarhea slush, etc. and even did a rail jam on them. the ski is amazing. super light, super fun.

if you're looking for a smaller ski, then i definitely suggest the watch life. if wider, the live life.

The Watch Lifes are a super fun park/all mtn ski.  Light and snappy.  If you pick them up in a store, you'll be like, "wow, these are really stiff"--but don't worry, they bend when you butter.  I've been using them for handrails and shit since early January, and the construction seems pretty solid overall.  The topsheet chips/peels pretty easily--but that's just cosmetic.  They're lighter than AR5s or Fujatives--I think they feel similar to STLs or Butterliciouses, but those were the two pairs I broke in the same month last year, and my Watch Lifes haven't broken yet.  So I'd recommend that you pick up some Watch Lifes, and my opinion isn't quite as biased as Blake's because I had to pay for my skis (full price even).  

I just read the rest of your thread, and I think you should get Watch Lifes because they're not noodley at all.  But I haven't skied the Scotts--the only person I know with P3s is Ty Battersby, and he says they're sweet...but I think that's part of his job description so I can't really help you there.
