and it looks like a can of chew! Sweet. But seriously I would love to demo a pair of these, and 4frnt has that whole progressive sizing thing so in the bigger lengths they r actually pretty substantial I think.
next years TNKs are dope. def not stiff, but stiffer than an STL, softer than an MSP, right in the middle of those two skis. shapewise, id say the same thing. not as symetrical as a STL, not as directional as a MSP, and a bit wider than STLs. cool lookin ski.
you are exactly right. I remember thinking that when I was reading the spec sheet and I just rewatched the SIA 4frnt thing and they definitely look low on sidecut. They are making a 180 this year which is awesome, and the guy said they are a little stiffer than the stl "for boosting out of the pipe". The 180s look absolutely prime and i'm tempted to buy another pair of skis that I don't need.
Yeah, Im really concidoring these skis. I can get them for a good deal to, the 06/07 ones ofcource. Anyone ride them? How is 4frnt's warranty? Stiffer then t-halls or scratch FS???
awesome skis. super nice flex its stiff enough to get tons of pop and snap but soft enough to still butter and not get thrown around by and they're so light. very close to being symmetrical so they're so nice switch, also as good switch as invaders. my only complaint is that the edges are weak. i love the skis but not the edges they cracked a ton in the first few days on them and then began to lift and get uneven until chunks started falling out. great ski for jumps but weak on rails would be the bottom line.
