Replying to Painting skis

since i'm already starting to miss the snow up here in the eastern part of canada, im planning on how i can keep doing everything i can to have something to do with my skis. so i figured "hey, i can paint my skis" and build a jib in my backyard. so what i need to kno about painting my skis is

1. what kind of paint should i use
2. do i have to put a layer of fiber glass or something over the skis once i paint them? if yes, then how?
