take a jump at breck, keep the height of the lip, but take some of the kick off, put an up tripple barrel shotgun rail after the lip, and end the rail with about 15 to the knuckle, sets you up for a perfect and Steezy as all hell trick off of a rail...think of it, smooth 630's off, corked and all sorts of grabs...
a giant wall of snow with a hole cut through it that you would gap through off of a jump. kind of like the big step-up/step-downs we have seen in recent videos, but not quite. the camera shots from the side would be dope as hell
another one is two quater pipes next to eachother where you could gap from one to another if you are looking North, but on the South face you have two table like landings and to the right side of each quarter pipe hit, its built more mellow and lets you turn the two qp's into a channel gap or two tables. Then on the east and west sides you put two lips, and through the middle going from W to E, and E to W there is a rainbow rail. but down the middle between the bap there are to flat up boxes, one that shoots you up and onto the landing of the left side, and one to the right side.....pretty chaotic, but it would be a creation for sure
park is to predictable, just jump/feature/landing always in line straight downhill. whistler at leasts uses natural step ups, rollers and whatnot for asthetic. if its inbounds i say think natural hills, gulleys, and other unjulations(sp?) on the mtn. smooth natural airs are the most pleasing on camera.
buttt if your lookin for a crazy new feature... go for a smooth rythme like line similar to mtn biking or bmx like, jump to fall line wallride to hip to rail or some shit that you can pop on to get some off the deck height for the cam but can flow and still be tech.
Quarter Pipe with a hole in it, so that people can go through it, or wall ride over the hole! Gotta be a big quarter pipe though so that the wall ride feels EXXXTREMME!!!
Forgot to add what I want. I would like to see a man made clifdrop about 15-20' tall. But instead of a snow lip, I want a piece of lexan the width out the takeoff and about 15'long. Can you say switch nose butter to cliff drop? I think this would be sick.
vto pipe at my home mountain. 22 foot walls and 550 feet long. as for jumps, a jump line of like 6 jumps having small sides and big sides to work on any trick you want. big sides from 35-70 feet with mucho air. small sides about the same size only less of step downs/less air
how about instead of building crazy features for one role...make a feature that you can hit in a shitton of different ways. hitting jumps from the side are pretty rad...maybe tweak that out some more so you can have fun. add a few humps and bumps around the base of a jump to make people imagine trannies and shit to jump to and whatnot...precision jumping is sweetness
the loop its been done...... check out shit i forgot name of snowboard movie, but its by striaghtjacket poductions.films its pretty cool ill post back w/ video name
that would be pretty sick. i'd look at it more like a tabletop, where the sides are built quater pipes, with a steep landing so you can gap from side of jump to the 'landing. wideness wouldn't hurt.
also a sick like a stall on one side of the jump for those hitting the quater, and on the other side some sort of insanely well placed C box you could do to transfer to the landing from the other quater pipe side
i really like what north start was trying to do with the stash thing, but if it had to be anything, i would say something like the bonk the bibby does in ski mattic, its a picnic table to bonk to picnic table, but instead i would do a jump, then bonk, then a down rail
how sick would it be to have a HUGE BOX that is like 6 feet tall and is round kinda like a waterslide and u could slide on the sides and pick up speed and it would have like an epic quarter pipe or jump or somthing at the end
alright. 15 foot tall battleship (trap box) with sides that are mad for a wall ride. so you could ride up the wall ride, pop onto the flat and slide down the down part. go on the up part, flat, slide down. wall to flat to wall. there's so many awesome combinations to do. MAKE IT PLEASE!
I would love to see the worlds biggest 1/4 ever created something along the lines of a hundred feet wide, with 2 tombstone take off's 25 feet in, on both ends for some extra wu-tang, feety feet of pipe between the tombstone caps, and the pipe vert just monster sized & smooth, with an inrun that could feed you the speed you'd need to do a mega boost out.
6 hump roller coaster boxes, double S rail. 100 foot long mellow down rail. and more trapazoid rails and boxes. Also a pack of like 15 jumps getting progressively bigger by 5 feet each hit starting at 25 footer.
