pocket ski lift

i just saw the coolest thing on ripley's believe it or not. it was this invention from the 50s, it was a rope tow, and you would plant a pole at the top of a slope, then drive a car's rear wheels onto a machine that would power the rope tow. how cool is that. to bad not enough cars could access places to do it.

if its a lift powered by a car you might aswell climb and save on gas money..

^^ He's got a point, but then again, the lift isn't going to be running the entire time right. you'll have to take turns pressing the gas and what not for each person instead of just setting it on cruise control.
