So here the deal, i live in chicago so a large part of the winter i will be skiing in the midwest. There i will be skiing about 90 percent park. However i make at least one trip out west every year, where i ski very little park, due mostly to the fact that i have REAL MOUNTAINS with REAL SNOW to ski. I can get the K2 Seths for about 450, which handled excellently in colorado when i demoed them but i donno about back here. what ski do you think i should go for, are the seths too wide or ok?
You can ride backcountry on any ski, i is just wether you can ski the ski right. If your a bigger guy the seth would likley be fine.
Check out www.momentskis.com they have the reno and that would be ideal for park and pow, and it's one of the lightest skis on the market. only 400$ us.
get the seth that excels everywhere including park so does the lizzie im not sure on your size but possibly look into lizzies also if you can get those for a good price
