Mt snow and killy closing dates...

Just got the word from a mt snow employee on closing dates: Mt Snow April 9th and Killington April 29th...such a shame considering they both could make it a lot further then that this year. Anyone else hear this as well leme kno. I hope stowe or somewhere up north goes til May cause they DEF could I bet.

Killy used to make it at least to June and still have snow. I remember Stratton usually closes around april, so since Mt. Snow is south from there I bet they'd close earlier.

well its obviously because of the sell out. I mean yea killy could fuckin hit June for sure. Hell Mt snow could make til april i bet. Stratton closes mid april cause of the bear population. I bet the bush will go for awhile.

mountains don't just close due to lack of snow. In late april and onwards, much less people are going to travel to the mountains for vacation. The people using the mountain will be the ones with season's passes and they do not bring in any additional revenue. Therefore mountains will close

i'm gonna wager taht you dont live on the east coast, because our mountains do actually close because there isn't enough snow to ski on anymore its not like out west

where did you hear this from?
i heard that killi was staying open till may 5th and they said that before they got 30 inches in the past 5 days...i would expect they could make it to june no problem.
