Park was a little crappy midweek, lots of snow meant awful flat landings. They've had some time to get it together, but I dunno... BC is a lot more epic, tons of stashes still hiding around. You should come out, Stevens is always a great time. Skiing Big Chief switch is always a blast.

so as off last sunday, the only rail at stevens worth filming is the down rail right above the waterfall, becuase it is the only one with any hight, the others look way to small. and that down rail.

Hahaha, icyest spot on the mountian: New beginners park.
There were some good stashes last night. Taking the high traverse from sky and then sidestepping 50 feet to the top of the cliff band was where it was at. Dropping back into those chutes was b-e-a-utiful. Haha, and I lost my skis pointing this narrow line last night near Tye. They kinda just stopped and i blew out, aired the small drop without skis and landed running up to my waist in powder.

I was up there last night also. Hell of a time. Good stashes to be found and soft landings on cliffs. Although I did launch off under Hogs again through the cones and got worked pretty good haha.
But yeah, this weekend looks shitty, so im glad I got up there yesterday.

And for some reason mountain safety and ski patrol were out in full force. Is it like that EVERY fri night? I got yelled at for ducking a rope under sky. Then I proceed to throw a 3 into the bowl there and got fucked up on the outrun. Sure enough, ski patrol comes down and there I am with ski and poles all over there place. I felt like a real dumbass and he explained about ducking ropes and shit, but luckily he was chill about it.

Yeah, I dunno, safety patrol was everywhere last night, it was weird. Suprisingly, they didnt bitch when I threw a 1 into pow under Hogs before it opens up into the plain and rode back switch. I only noticed they were sitting out there when I rode the chair back up. They clearly must have seen me...

saturday nite, there were 4 blue coaters chillin by the ridge of skyline. i literally straightlined from the lift right past them about three runs in a row, and they didnt say anything...reallly weird. they were still out around 930 too. at 11 last nite, they groomed chief for hte vertical challenge, and since there were no fences at hte bottom, you could tuck all of chief. took from the upper lodge down to the rope tow to stop though, haha

Park was sick on tuesday... Jumps were money. Super slushy and speed wasn't an issue. Waterfall was pretty much perfect.. Only bad thing was the bomb holes people were leaving because it was so soft. What can I say who dosn't love almost 40 degree park days?
