Plastic decking

i was at a ski hill in ottaw and they use plastic 2x4s for decks for a top sheet on their boxes has anyone tryied this im thinking of using this for my box
i need some imput

I went to go get some of that for a box and it was 20 dollas for a 1 by 5 by 8 peice something ridiculous like that.

one of my friends has is from his driveway down to his house, its down a 15-20 stair. slides real well too. also, i thkn thejackal1177 has a vid of it, lemme check

does anybody know if that does any damage to your skis. i dont think it would im just wondering cause i also have extra from a deck

is it okay to leave that stuff out all season or should it be brought under the deck after a session? i assumed itd be straight to keep it outside cause its used for decks but it was hella $$$ to i wanna make sure

should the jib made out of decking material be put under a deck... that is also made of decking material. i think you can answer that yourself

Alright i just got back from a backyard rail sesh at a friends house, his flat-down box has plastic decking on it its really good im going to make my box out of it. its not to sticky or slippery.

its fine for skis, but its hella $$$ and it only slides if its wet
