Im thinking about getting the STLs next year? has anyone hurd any gripes or had any problems with them...them and the deadbolts anyone know anything? im about 6 ft, 180 lbs, ski 70% park, 20% grooms, 10% backcountry? will they be alirght? i ski rails in the park mostly...
my friend has them and he loves them, hes a fair bit lighter than you though, and even he calls them noodles. 4frnts stuff is getting better and more durable every in my opinion so i dnt think you have anything to worry about for next years stuff.
YEAA! i have them and they are soo poppy and fun. The best ski ive ever owned in my opinion. hold an edge on grromers, actually surprisinglky well in pow, and amazing in the park.
i have them too, they are sooo sick in park. They butter like crazy too, it gives me mad shinbank lol but i think its cause of my boots. They work in powder, but if i have a pair of MSP's that i use for park cause its nice to have a stiffer ski.
The swingweight on stls is sooo sick though, easy as fuck to spin like a madman onto rails and on jumps
lol fuck i meant; I have a pair of MSPs that I use for powder instead of stls because stls are just too buttery for pow from my experience, although they will still work fine in pow.
money thanks guys does anyone know about the deadbolt bindings? if not waht are some good ones i got some salomon s912 ti's on my tens and i love em but its time for some new ones...
i have an older pair of stl's and they are amizing they have ahd 3 difrent pairs of binding in them and have skied everyting from Bc pow to cement. i stoped using them at the bigining of this season and my new rosi scrach fs are in about the same condition as my 4fronts after riding them for 2 years. so ya they are sick
watching the 4frnt video from SIA, they mentioned that the skis are now coming out of the elan factory - if anything this will be a positive from a construction/durability standpoint..
im 5 11 and ski the 167's, yes i know they are on the short side. The only prob ive had is the topsheet doesnt like to stay on on one of the tips. Small drawback, doesnt really affect much. Other than that my only complaint is the tips dont have much of a curve so you really have to pick you lines sometimes, other than that great skis
