Grades Suck

Most of you by now have taken your finals. I have like a 2.5 and need a 3.0 to take my license test. How's everyone on NS doing?

Some day (maybe) you'll learn that grades only suck when you're not getting good ones.  Try a little harder and you might feel differently.  I learned the hard way, but I ended up with a 3.5 (4 point system) in high school.

my GPA is like 3.0 of 4 because I sucked during my freshman and sophomore years. My GPA for junior and senior year is around 3.7 though. I messed up bad the first 2 years, because I just didn't do anything. I realized that if i try just a little bit I can do really well.

Advice for younger kids: don't just say you will bring your gpa up later, the longer you wait the harder it is to bring up.

im on a 12 point scale 12 is an A+, 11 is and A so on and so fourth, and I have about an 8, so thats a B average, and thats like a 3 on a four point scale right? shit I used to be smart in middle school

^^ FUCK ME TOO!!!!!! And.. I can't get this years Public Enemy's for my FUCKING 16th BIRTHDAY. That's ALL I WANT. ALL i'm asking for. I normally don't give a fuck about birthday's, but the fact that I would've been able to take this one to my advantage.

And it's mainly because my average has dropped from a fucking 95 to a damning 80. What the fuck.. It's not even that bad.

yeah but man, this was before exams. which were this week. haha. i failed 2 with flying colours- no sweat. & 2 others just around the 80s. i just didn't give a rats ass, nor thought about the consequences of doing poorly.

Same thing happened to me.   Once I matured a little during junior year I was killing it.  I started with a 3.01 or something freshman year.  I did well junior year and senior year I got atleast a 4.1 for each semester.  I ended with a 3.5.  I still regret not trying a little harder earlier on.  High school really isn't that hard, just a little effort will you get you really far.
