im 14 living in north van and pretty soon parents are gong to stop paying. just wondering where i should try to get a job prefferably something to do with skiing ie. mountain/ski shop kind of thing. also want to find something within 15 minute srive. i live just 5 minutes from the base of grouse.
ah theres so meny places for you to go!
at any local mountain you could be a ski instructor (if you take the level one corse) or a
lifty. you could also work in one of the lodges buts thats not really ski related.
apply at all the north shore shops (destination ski, north shore ski and board ect.) and see if they will hire you.
also make sure you have a good resume and cover letter.
your gonna have to wait a while tho cause legal working age is 15
good luck
Is it that complicated to write a resume, make photocopies, get out and go wherever you like and hand out your resume? Be courteous and polite of course...
That's as much advice as a 14 year old needs to get a job. Don't aim too high either.
you could try and get a job at grouse as a liftie, and the legal working age is 15, but if you get your parents to sign something saying they allow to work X amount of hours a week, there should be a problem
