I can't wait until the day that we actually do catch someone in the act of jacking skis. You know why? Because that one person is going to have the entire wrath of the community come down upon them.
I always ski with a cam, and if I EVER catch someone jacking mine, or someone else's skis you can pretty much count on shit going down, and getting filmed.

For anyone else, split your skis up, put them by the window when you go inside, or lock 'em up.
I'm sorry about your loss man. Keep an eye out everyone.

ya definetly put them were you can see them. i guess what just doesnt seem fair is that i saved up for like a year, and it was the best day of my life when i finally got them, i was rediculously excited, and then boom i no longer have skis or bindings, and i have no money, its just not right that that can happen, i prob wont have skis till next year. fuck that guy

yo FUN,
Call up surface and explain the deal to them. They are a legit group of guys and might be able to hook you up.

thats another reason why i enjoy my 04 thalls with no edges, core shots everywhere and custom sharpie artwork that only i could love. way more practical then having shiny, new, expensive skis that you always have to worry about.
but thats fuckng beat, i mean rob the shit out of the cafateria, take all the rice krispys and redbulls you want, but why the fuck would u steal someone elses stuff??
one day this kid is going to get caught, its enivitable. Its easy to say "yo id fuck that kid up so bad leave him lying facedown bloody in the parkinglot" but when the day comes and you look out the window and actually see some 16 year old jacking your skis its not about talk anymore. The only way the kids is going to stop is when you walk outside without a word and punch him straight in the face , preceeding to beat hte shit out of him

ya i emaild mike, but i dont really expect anything just because there such a small company, they dont really have extra skies lying around. And ya i was rocking old chrons with edge hanging off the tip, wood core showing in the bases and edges pulled out underfoot, i just thought it was time for some new ones.

So... you're saying that it's cool to steal from people in the ski resort business, but bad to steal from a skier?
Maybe the cafeteria owner can't buy their kid a pair of skis because of all the shit that you steal from them.
Nice morals. If you happen to get busted and lose your pass, don't go crying about it.

that sucks balls. you should ask around. maybe someone knows who it was. maybe he bragged about it to some of his friends and someone heard about it.

what is funny is that we put our skis together to separate. and they didnt steal mine. prally cause there is tape on the tip.hahahah

It's just as easy splitting them up but a hell of a lot safer as we have come to find out. I guess it just depends on if you'll sacrifice a cold hand for a couple of seconds to keep your skis safe.

No shit mang, setup a sting operation and bust their ass, bring bats. Be really stealthy though and put a nice ass pair of sticks on the rack and walk away like you would never think anyone would touch them. Whoever is watching needs to be watching real close and out of view, cause thieves are sneaky. Be ready to chase him down. I highly doubt this person is on NS, although u never know...

i have a pair of pipe cleaners with fks 155's on them that we could use for this sting operation.
and cafaterias are usualy owned by the resort. so steal it up. i dont think its right to have to pay 2.75 for a snickers that is 75 at the bottom of the mountian in the genral store.

Then buy your snickers at the general store, thief.
By the way, I think you win the award for the most ironic post ever. You encourage stealing, and then you encourage catching thieves with a "sting op" in the same post.

man, I dunno, the person who stole them must have at least known what kind of skis they were... I highly doubt some random person says "oh, surface skis, I've never heard of them, I'm going to steal them!" Whoever jacked them, new very well what he/she was taking.

i make sure that i never have to deal with fuckers like those who steal skis, every time i leave them, even if it's just going inside to get some water, i lock up, even the small locks work because it doesn't allow stealers to have a quick grab and run.
again, i'm sorry for you, and i'll keep a look out in Madison WI, even tho i doubt they'll show up here.
