Computer problem

Does anyone know if you can hook a lab top up to a tv to use as a DVD player? I look at the walmart but they didnt have a cable for it.

depends if your laptop can output video. most likely it's an s-video cable.

Without an S-Video output port its kinda difficult, but if you have one its really easy. On mine I just plug it into the TV and then hit my Function key (Fn) and F5. From there you can change around settings in your video card to optimize the performance.

Yes you can, you can get either an s-vid output, or a VGA output, but your tv needs to have the appropriate connector.
