What is the flex like on seths and have they been pretty much the same ski every year?

totally differnt this year (i think last year was the  last year for the yellow graphics)the viscious is softer this year and has a progressive sidecut

I don't know much about the Visous or Seth, but the Seth Pistols are really soft, even in the 189.

My friend wants to sell me some 179 Seth pistols from a couple years ago. I Was just wondering if they have the gut for steeps and crud, I know they rip in the pow pow.

Depends on how big you are and where you ski.  There's definitely a lot better skis out there for crud and other conditions besides powder, but if you're small and can get a good deal they're an ok ski.

Well I am about 6 foot and ski CO and the likes. Steamboat, Copper, Keystone, Vail, Jackson. I have some 1080s I got a good deal on last year that I ride everything on right now. I am looking for a good deal on a year or 2 old ski that will be got for in bounds pow, inbounds steaps, some 10-15 foot drops of so, nothing huge. Some minor hikes. That sort.

You should probably get the 189's for that if you can find them.

I think I would like the 179 better, if it is stiff enough, I only weigh about 150 or so and only ski about 2 weeks a year.

Not very.  Lots of people use them as a park ski, to give you an idea.  They're great in powder, but if it's choppy they'll bounce around a bit.

I'm pretty sure his skis are a little different than the ones you can buy in stores.  I know guys on the rossignol team were riding XXXX's and b squads way before they were released to the public, so my guess is that Seth gets special skis too.  That, and he's a super good skier so he can tear the shit out of a mountain on most anything.
