Earlier today, Chicago-born skiing sensation Matthew Washborn made stunt skiing history by landing the first ever 270 to rail. He nearly went inverted and managed to add a double safety. The setup was set up at St. Mary's hill, an infamous local Wisconsin sledding hill located in Wisconsin. The jib was a 20 foot gap to 20 foot down rail. The rail, which was out of pvc and wooden beams, stood 4 feet tall and sloped down to 1 foot drop off. Video footage was taken from multiple angles and should be up on the internet by the end of the weekend.
