i dunno, like 50 somethin. but my poles are carbon fiber scotts so no pole bend watsoever! and yes ive thrashed em and yes, it cost a lil sum of 35 for em. but, totally worth it.
dude it dont mater....
say me and u are both 5'6'' i could have a longer pole than u or vice-a-versa your arms might be longer or shorter than mine
if u are ordering off line go to your local ski shop and try some out see what sizes fit you than go order off line with same size....duhhhh
for park and shit where i dont really care about them i just use whatever shortish ones i can scrounge up, usually maybe like 3-4 inches shorter than what would be appropriate. get's in the way a lot less.
rule of thumb is flip the pole upside down hold under the basket and your arm should be at 90 degree angle. thats if you want it to fit right however some people like to go a lil shorter (park peeps who dont use there poles much)but if you are out of the park at all go with 90 degrees
90 degees when they are upside down with your hand under the basket cause the two inches or so under the basket goes into the snow so you need to flip em
Yeah I am just shy of 6 foot and got some 50s as well, I was just wondering if that is the correct length. I dont have them here so I cant do the flip trick
hold your poles unsside down and hold your hand right under the basket. Your afr should make 90 degree angle. That being said it depends what you are doing and that is justa general guideline. I am 5' 9" and my poles are 48".
like everyones said, nineties degree trick, or whatever feels comfortable, the ones you bought should be fine, and if they feel long just cut them down.
