yea, it's real. I have a full sequence of it, but i had to leave before i could upload all the pics. Yes, that is me, we hiked up to beaver creek after it closed. We drenched it in gasoline, lit it up, then slid it as soon as it was lit. After each slide we had to put out the flames with snow.
Im at work now, but when i get home around midnight mountain time i'll upload the rest, and a full sequence shot.

Capirnicus pain comes with this kind of stuff. If you think about getting hurt every thime you try something you will go nowhere with your skills. Pain is good it means you're trying.
Pain brings chicks
i grind down the edges on my skis under the foot the same day i mount them. I do this so my log sliding and rail sliding is smoother, i can slide faster, and i dont catch as often on little nicks and shit. Also, if rails are sticky to some people, my skis may not be.
These are the advantages, the disadvantage is the skis suck if it gets too icy, i cant hold an edge as well. Also it isnt as good in the pipe.
(lucky for me i have other skis for pipe!)

yea, those are the TM. The base material is so hard that my skis dont even have scratches on the base. There were some marks, but after a quick wax, they were gone.
we also set up a box that night, at an incline. I'll get the video of that up soon. My buddie paul (the guy who took the picture) has the video tape in oregon. As soon as i get it, i'll post some clips.

thats awesome, but wouldnt a thin log like that bend/collapse easily, especially under your weight?

Yo Shorty, you don't even gotta go to summer school
Pick up the Wu-Tang double CD
And you'll get all the education you need this year
YouknowhatImean?
The log bent, for sure, it moved a lot side to side too, but it didnt break. I prolly would now, we lit it up like 10 times total that night, so it's got pretty britle.
