Replying to Binding adjusting??

So this might be s a stupid question but I was wondering if someone can help me. I have been skiing in boots that were size 24.5 and just got a new pair of boots at the end of last season. Apparently my old boots were to big so my new boots are size 23. Do I need to have my bindings readjusted? Is it something that I can do by myself so I don't have to take them into my lame ski store that takes way to long to do anything??? Thanks for any input.
