ino a bunch of u are in colledge, out or close to it, what do colldeges like on transcrips? anybody have some good ideas for stuff to do that looks good for colledges? (besides all the usual school clubs)

your high school sends your transcripts to college's you cant touch them. You can though, send along with your application, a resume and a letter of recommendation

Communuty service, out of school clubs, good grades in the right subjects, and take alot of electives in highschool, so you look like a well-rounded pupil.

eagle scout... your talkin to one right nowwww. Oh yea, and be really good at a sport. That makes college sooooo much easier. It is easier said than done though

Clubs, Grades, Jobs, Volunteering, family that went there too, a good essay, variety of classes but also a persistance, such as band all four years to show you are serious about stuff and stick with it.

Volunteer in related feilds, good grades, after school participation in sports/ clubs, interesting hobbies, Rich parents that donate lots of money to the school, Letters of referrance from people of important standings,

they want to see you had a life outside of school. i mean sure, a lot like the asb bullshit, and maybe some cummunity service, but not all the time. they dont like people to be bots. an interesting selection of classes helps, too.

but seriously, work on spelling and shit

an A in an honors or ap class counts as a 5 on the 4.0 scale. oh and they like test scores and grades.

depending on when you went to university in Canada they had a GPA scale of 9.0 that being said, 4.1 is terrible
