obviously there is nothing like standing infront of original work in a museum setting. but some people are not close enough to certain exhibitions and are forced to view pictures online. Also, when i was studying art history during college, i used the internet to view work and get as much exposure to art as i could for class. It was almost needed seeing that i was in college in the middle of nowhere. The internet has allowed a large number of people the ability to view work and make them want to see it in person..
So i pose this question to you... what is the difference between viewing work online and viewing it in an art history book?
