i got sme 0506 174 public enemies and i wnt to get some opinions. i am a good skiier and i would centermount these for park. i am 5'6 120 lbs. will they be too much ski? im just wondering, ill use them anyways cuz i know ill get used to them, i jus wana her wat people with experience with these skis have to say
those are some pretty burly skis for your weight. i would highly reccomend bumping down to a 169, unless you plan on growing a crapload. i'm an aggressive all around skier and i have the same skis, but i'm 150. take my advice, man. even center-mounting them for just park, you'll have a lot of unnecessary weight to swing around.
DO NOT center mount. measure out center, then go about 2 to 3 cm's back from it. center mounting is the kiss of death. if you go a litlte back though, you'll be golden.
yeah im 5'10 and 80kgs and last year i skied centermount 169s and they did an awsome job. im on this years 169s centermount for my pipe and jumps now. i would of said get smaller skis for parky
i had the 05 PE's..the only thing i would comment on was that although they are pretty damn bombproof, they were quite heavy, so the swingweight on them was pretty hectic..
for sure man. twins are built with the idea in mind that they'll be skied backwards... so that includes flex and sidecut... my friends PE's that are center-mounted kill the park, but i found that they were quite unstable switch compared to mine which are mounted 3 back. I'm sure some skis would do much better mounted that far forward, though. Andy M. rides his madn's like +11 i think...
