Replying to Con Air

alright, I saw Con Air again last night on tv and the end (when they crash in Las Vegas) is so dumb. why? for one reason. Anyone who has been to Vegas should know that the Hard Rock Cafe is like, pretty much right at the airport (it's a block or two north of the airport) while the rest of the strip is further north and to the west... so what I want to know is how the hell did they manage to fly into the guitar of the hard rock coming from the north than end up all the way up by the north end of the strip when they actually hit the ground?

I know it's just a movie, but couldn't they at least pick something not right beside the airport to hit? stupid hollywood.
