I think they are an alright college. I looked into them for a lil while because they have an aviation degree, and the skiing (duh). They are pretty good for their price I think.
Westminster is right on 13th East in SLC, and right on the bus route that heads up either canyon. Little Cottonwood for Alta, and Snowbird. Big Cottonwood for Brighton, and Solitud. Or Park City Canyon for Deer Valley, Park City, and The Canyons.
It is very expensive to go to Westminster, and it's small, but if you don't want to go to the U of Utah, then go there.
As I understand it, if your doing the winter at westminster program, your current college may or maynot do a consortium(sp?) agreement. This means you pay a similar amount to what your current school is (unless its more) and simply take courses that your school transfers credits for.
and yeah...it's a good school depending on what you want to do. our aviation program is freaking sweet, especially when it's on the tab of the american taxpayer.
I got accepted to Westminster and had an 11,000 dollar scholorship.
But i turned it down to stay and ski with Jeff Kiesel, Witty Foster, Tom Wallisch, and Ian Cosco at U of U.
yeah the U is kind of cooler. i go to westminny but i'm navy rotc up the street, so any school spirit i have is for the university. only school EVER to have the #1 nfl and nba draft picks in the same year! what?
