yo - who's seen this? I finally got around to seeing it tonight, and I really liked it. 'concerning hobbits' was nice at the starting... i wish they would have continued with the rest of the intro to the book, but whatever. and instead of going in depth at Lothlorien I wish they had of showed the Old Forest and Tom, but whatever. all and all, good addition to the video series. (I really hate how people call it a trilogy - it's not a fucking trilogy damnit - it's one novel split into three volumes, therefor three movies - not three different movies that are linked togeather.

ya i got that extended version and its totally chill. Ya not to many people now about the Lord Of the rings getting split up though, it was origanly just one big ass book but the publishers thought they could make more money off three books.Has anybody read any of his stuff thats not middle earth? I have the father christamss letters, its so cool santa and this polar bears are like fighting with this army of north pole goblins, its so cool.

i got a two towers dvd. only downside is it was for the oscars so at the bottom it says 'for your consiteration' every 5-10 minutes.

yea, a bunch of my friends got that... hell, after the second time paying to see the two towers in the theaters i said no more. I concider myself a better fan than to continue paying for lotr. two towers is pretty chill - I really wish they would have showed the cave at the end though... i don't wanna wait till december to see the fucking spider.

ya i got it, the extra stuff isn't that great. it doesn't add a whole lot to the movie except another hour, so if you want to sit down and spend 4 hours watching 1 movie then get it
