Assasination or Murder??

Assasination is like if you're paid to do it and your a hitman. prolly if oyu try to do it super like quiet and like with a sniper rifle or something. murder, id say is just some person going crazy and not controlling themselves and killing someone.

it depends on whether you supported or opposed the recently deceased

dude no one is in controll when they're killing someone....it doesnt have to do with the way u kill someone...i think thats a given

Murder is the act itself, while assassination is the means by carrying it out. It'd be like asking the difference between manslaughter and murder.

im guessing you have to be pretty famous, ot it has to haev a hardcore impact on historical stuff. because the last "assissnation" i heard of was what apperantly triggered world war two and that was the assassination of archiduke ferdinand. all the other stuff that happens and is in newspapers is always murder. i dont get it

Usually, the media defines assassination by means of the killing of a political leader. Assassination simply means the carry-out of a murder because of impersonal reasons. Political leaders are assassinated all the time. You really should read a book or read the newspaper once in a while. Visit cnn.com or something. Just do yourself this favor.

To be assassinated you dont have to be a famous but you have to be a in a position of power ex. President, Prime minister. If someone killed tom cruise it would just be murder and also no one would care.
