so i was going for a switch 3 off our bigger jump where i ski, and i unded up going totally corked, not on purpose. This was the first time iv been that corked, so i started to panic, and landed on my side and broke my wrist. If i didnt panic i could have pulled it together. How do i learn to stay calm and not panic in that kind of situation.
try to just relax, and never think about what you need to do once your in the air, plan out the move in your head prior to the in0run, but once your in the air, dont think, thinking wastes time, and can cause panic
It comes naturally more than to others. I know I've only panicked once in the air and almost didn't walk away. Here's what I do, just don't think. When you are in the air, just get in that state of mind where you are not focused on anything, like when you space out. The more relaxed your body is when it tumbles, the far less chance you are going to get hurt. Or meditate like the person above me said.
